Roo race

As I opened my web browser yesterday and the normal Yahoo! homepage appeared on my screen, I began thinking about just how useless the headlines are on yahoo.com.

In fact, I made a mental note to blog about that very topic this evening. I was going to blatantly scoff at what the Yahoo! homepage (not to be confused with Yahoo! News) seems to think of as “news;” namely, the latest Paris Hilton gossip, relationship advice of the most speculative sort, and features on puppies.

But tonight, while perusing through the Yahoo! headlines in search of material, I found this video.

Admittedly, the kangaroo is my favorite animal. So I probably find this more amusing than most of you will.

But when that roo clears that impossibly tall picket fence, narrowly avoids getting smashed by that car, and then kicks said car before bounding down the road, I am both exhilerated and touched.
